BEN our brother was in hospital for a short while, however, he recuperated quickly to take up his teaching at the Universitas Primary School (Tjokkies) in Bloemfontein. His grand child in the UK had a tonsillitis problem and is also going strong again. Ben is about to retire from his primary school career after forty years of teaching, coaching rugby and athletics and organisation of the annual yearend concerts. And of course his regular school tours with the pupils. Our De Beer family is very proud of our brother who contributed so much to his school and the community...many lawyers, medical doctors and mothers and fathers in the walk of life passed through his hands...We salute Barend Petrus de Beer !
